Heey! Again. I’m so pooped, work was sooo busy today. My arms feel floppy, my legs are feeling wobbly from all the standing up, my brain is soo tired. It’s meant to be my HOLIDAY HERE! Anywayy, I met Amanda/Armilda’s mom today and we had this LONG talk (I served her anyway) about Amanda, school, braces (cause she has braces too AHAH) and independence. So random. Also had this lady laugh at all these slogan tees. And I actually got all these ladies to buy all these clothes, I’m so proud. HAHAA too bad we dont get paid by commission. Seeing as I get to serve most of the chinky ladies and the caucasians (I’m the only girl there who speaks chinese and really good english), I guess I have a lot of things to do.

Then there were these LOUD obnoxious ladies who were pinoy according to their accent and they were like messing up the whole place and shouting here and there and yelling to each other (even though they stood next to each other) and spilling their guts laughing so hard at the shirts. I mean, the phrases on the shirts are funny but overexaggerated much?

So one of them (their leader or whatever, queen bee of the trio, I dont know) was like:
‘ “I am playgurrl”(reading a shirt), that pits por me!’
then her friend goes: ‘HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH’

I’m like thinking, why would you sound proud of that! but then I had this HUGE urge to laugh at them, obviously I couldnt so I just bit my lip and continued folding. Ho ho ho.

But moving on. Just to tell you girls, there’s been a HUGE update in the clothes in Ego Attitude. The new arrivals have arrived on sunday and today, no wonder I had SO much work trying to hang and organize everything by style and material. Just to tell you guys, the new slogan tees there are quite cool I’m planning to buy some myself. Anyway, the store was a mess. Some people just had no consideration for others and the mess just one person left behind is like half an hour’s work.

So I’m just bored, and I havent exactly been going out that much to have any pictures to post but i’ll have some soon for now, I’ll just post up some pictures of the Resort 09 collections, really late. Sorry! These are just some pieces picked out here and there. I couldnt really be bothered to look in depth and detail but oh well. I’m tired.

For red carpet, maybe a risk I think. A risk that I might take. If I were on the Red Carpet often, which I’m not. At all. HAHA WAIT, I think it has ruffles!!
4th – Vena Cava – I guess I just liked this because it looks nice and you can wear it out, to the beach, etc. To a lot of things in Brunei’s case actually.

I cant wait to get a week off or something for when I fly to Hongkong, so I can use the extra days to go out with people, like Jon, Min, Jean and Ann and people. I miss you guys

God it feels amazing to finally have a free weekend. what a long week. No work. I cant believe I’m already complaining after only 5 days of work. Hahahah it feels like I’ve been working for ages already. Time crawls by too slowly. I count minutes like they’re hours. At least the people who work there with me are fun. I feel so out of it! So whats been happening people!

I need to catch up on my sleep. I’ve been sleeping at past midnight and getting up at around 8 to get ready. Eyebags! So I’m glad I slept in today. Then gonna go out tonight with Jon. Haven’t seen him for a while. (as usual, which is sad)

Speaking of missing, I miss loads of people. I haven’t talked to Min for ages so yes min, I miss you too. I miss May, OOH yes I miss may. I miss Nicki, maybe I’ll go to UK next year to visit her, Grace and Jon. It’s so weird how I thought I’d be free this holiday, free to spend time with everyone, especially Jon coz he’s leaving me (sheesh) but this whole job thing just ruined my whole plan. I’m thinking of stopping by August at the very least. Oh wow, this post and this blog is so bland. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow or something! Bye!

Why is Made of Honor only showing three times a day? It clashes so much with my work. Gosh I’ve been waiting to watch it for ages and I STILL HAVENT WATCHED IT. I thought that there’d be more than 3 showings but oh well I might just have to force myself to buy the dvd and watch it at home (reluctantly). If worst comes to worst, I’ll just call Jon and ask him to come over with some people (who havent watched it or who want to watch it again) so that we can all watch togetherrr. And makan popcorn. Hahahaha see I’m putting my malay to the test I’m taking Malay Ab in IB and everyone who works with me speaks malay conversationally instead of English So I have to learn. Lapar = hungry right? Yes, I am Lapar. HAHAH. does that make sense? Coz, I really am hungry.

Anyway, work is really boring. I’m so glad that occasionally, people I know pop over just to visit me (thanks guys) which is really refreshing after folding so many clothes, steaming all these outfits whilst burning myself and serving bitchy customers. Then I got told off (not scolded because the guy incharge is just so soft and nice that way) so you could say I was informed that I was caught on camera talking to Javon and we were chilling at the counter because its just more comfortable to lean on and then the guy in charge tells me that I’m allowed to talk to friends but I cant talk for long and also I got told off because Javon (who is a customer even though he pretended he worked there to the customers) was too close to the cashier. I guess they thought Javon might go and steal some money or something but oh well.

Its quite funny how they caught me ON CAMERA. I must wonder what else they’ve seen on camera, everyone picking wedgies? Not very pretty But then I also feel really embarrassed. The guy in charge, said that Janrius’s mom caught me (WHICH IS SO EMBARRASING) because Jan’s mom is my mom’s really close friend and I cannot loook at Jan’s mom again without thinking of today. Am I overreacting? Someone tell me. I really dont know.

Hahahah its actually really fun seeing people you know. Like Jason dressing up in some pink frilly thing. And Javon always SKIPPING WORK to visit and even assessing my skills in dressing and picking out clothes for the mannequins. Janrius is often walking over cause I know he’s bored. May Anne dropped by, so did Azim. Jasmine too but sorry guys, I went to pick up some stuff. Jon, you should visit me too babe! Hahahaha pretend you want to buy something for your girlfriend. Like we’re on some inside joke that the others dont know about. Skip tennis for a day babe! I miss you!

I feel SICK, sick as in disgusting sick, not the awesome cool ’sick’ but also the illness catching-a-cold sick. It sucks! You feel so god damn tired all of a sudden. Gosh and still had to cook 4 packs of mee goreng for just lester and steve. Pigs, made me cook while they’re pigging out upstairs with packs of Salt & Vinegar Lays and cans and cans of ginger ale. And they kicked me off the computer so that steve could use it. Because apparently I make their internet lag. You know what I think? Damn you, e-speed.

I loooooooooove Ben Barnes. To me, he’s just a picture of perfection. He can sing, he can act, he’s not too shabby at dancing (even though he says he cant dance at all) and he is one sexy guy. Hahaa if you want to see him in short hair and when he was younger, well about 4 years younger, go and see the video of his band singing in this thing called Eurovision in 2004.

His band is called Hyrise (and he quit really soon after they sang) and they only made one song apparently and its called Leading Me On. I know this is so slow, but I just felt like mentioning it now. It has a huge resemblance to those classic backstreet boys, boy-band songs I know we all used to listen to as little girls. Oh and btw, Ben Barnes sings the bridge where one of the guy’s voice goes high. Thats him HAHAa. Though i must admit, this song is not the greatest. hahaha but its Ben Barnes all the same!

Anyway! I wonder whats causing all these sudden mini-typhoons that we’re having recently in Brunei. It’s quite cool to watch from a balcony actually. I keep wondering if the winds are ever gonna be strong enough to hurl me off the balcony. Hahahhaha okay not cool. But have you ever tried it? I stood there today coz there was one around 4pm and all I could hear were the powerful gusts of wind, and crashes here and there. Like there was this time I left my window WIDE open and my vase of gorgeous orchids actually gotten pushed off the table and it crashed onto the floor. I was like.. oh shit. what broke. My poor orchids

This might sound really weird, but I have mixed feelings when I hear glass break. Like, it sounds almost delicate. Sort of cool and yet you’re like OH SHIT what did I break. or FUCK I’m gonna be in some deeep shit. OOH and I’d love to see petals or leaves from treees flutter around and make some sort of shape, like the shape/silhoutte of an object. Yknow? Like in Narnia or Pocahontas. HAHA god its pretty awesome. Isnt it pretty though? I tried finding a picture but failed. SIGH.

Oh yeah, Jon and I watched The Happening on Jon’s birthday. I just cowered behind Jon whenever I saw the dead people. Like when Elliot’s friend/Jess’s dad went to Princeton and there were these people hanging dead from trees all over like decorations? Sick. That was so SICK. I was like oh my god I do NOT want to see dead people around! And when Elliot, Jess and Zooey Deschanel (forgot her character’s name ahahahah) and those two teenage boys got to that house to look for food for Jess and the gun came out from the window? Errgghhh. Not pleasant at all. But oh well, not too bad overall. I’m still waiting to watch Made Of Honour! Maybe I’ll watch it with Amirah and the girls, or Jon (unless you want to watch Get Smart babe, cause I really want to watch that too hahaha).

Oh I’m warning you now that all of this is going to sound sooo cliche but I just want to say thanks for always being there for me baby. Always there for me to confide in, to keep me company, to cheer me up whenever I’m down in the dumps (which is pretty often, sorry) and someone who I know makes me happy. You’ve been one of the only people who’ve really cared. Cause you’re just so thoughtful, sweet and loud. haha naaww, I really appreciate it sweetie. I’m really sorry for all the thoughtless, careless, silly things I’ve done wrong and that have hurt you (maybe quite a bit). And yes, I didnt and wont forget what you said last night and what I promised you. No need to tell me twice now

Of course, today wouldve been better if things went according to how we wanted it and I’m still sorry and STILL feeling so guilty about that but I just hope you have a brilliant day. You deserve it. I just wish you didnt have to leave me in September! If you do, you better come back and visit ME a lot. And I’m glad you’ll still be here for the next less-than-3 months. I lost my way

I went to school to watch the Year 13s go against the teachers in basketball and netball today. It was a really close match. They played 4 quarters, two quarters of netball, another 2 quarters basketball. I was meant to watch but I ended up referee-ing for like a little while and ended up playing myself. But only in netball. I sucked at ref-ing so obviously Mrs C took over. HAHA Not that I dont know the rules but I miss a LOT of things. Heh heh. I also intended to take some pictures but I kind of forgot, well no I just couldn’t be bothered.

The year13’s won in netball but the teachers won in basketball. I thought it was so unexpected. I would’ve predicted it the other way around. But nonetheless, both sides played brilliantly. Mr Hollis was saying how he doesnt know how to play basketball at all. But he shocked us all by doing some moves. HAHA. I was like ‘WTF?! WOAH’ he’s hiding some of his baller skills huh. hahaha.

Anyway, football’s tomorrow! Anyone watching? There’s a party tonight for Julie and Grace since they’re leaving this week but I cant come, I’ll miss those two I’ll take pictures for tomorrow’s football though. This blog is getting SO boring. Hhaahahahah sorry. I promise I’ll blog more! Just so busy. I’m gonna go get fit. I cant wait for our 3-day Temburong Trip when we get back to school as new-IB-ers.

I’m thinking of getting healthier. I should try to stop eating so much junk food. Just that my house has too much of it, ice cream chips candy everywhere. Urgghhh no wonder I’m getting fatter and flabbier. Healthy diet coming on! I better stick to it this time. Just healthy food. Test out my self-control. Hahaha I feel like playing tennis again. I miss it. Anyone want to join me?

Oh and I’m watching the Sex in the City movie now. I love love looooooooooove the outfits. I must admit that i’m not a big fan of Sarah Jessica Parker but I still love this movie. I loved Samantha’s (Kim Cattrall) and Charlotte’s (Kristin Davis) dress in Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) wedding. Charlotte’s so cute. And her asian adopted daughter! MY GOSH she’s adorable! You guys should watch it. Not so much of a movie for the guys, but I’m sure you girls will enjoy it

Jon’s and Munah’s was two days ago on Saturday night. It was awesome. Munah set up a ‘photobooth area’, so prom like. Especially with the formal black tie attire that they asked us to come in. I loved Munah’s dress! Its so cute. Dan, Jon and Pat performed and it was really good, Pat performed his ’secret song’ then Munah, Weier, Jon and Pat performed again later on. Munah was so cute on the bass, weier sang really well. Jon just kept saying how much he screwed up. Poor baby, I noticed this one time but it still sounded good dont worry silly. Pat was so into it! Hahha then the dancing came and Javon livened things up with his own style as usual.

I wish I could upload pictures, but like I said before, facebook is being a real bastard. It wont let me upload pictures so I tried using the simple uploader but that just slows me down SO much because you can only upload 5 pictures at a time. My patience just isnt that tolerant But since I dont have to post all 100+ photos here, I’m just gonna give a ‘preview’ and upload some here. I’m sure some of you have seen loads on facebook anyway. Oh yeah, happy 1 year and a half Jon you know I love you. So stop asking. Hahahaa I hope thursday’s on so I can give you your present. I hope you’ll like it though! You’ve got such high expectations. It makes me so nervous. See you tomorrow baby.

I had such a brilliant night at our prom. Again, the girls looked amazing in dresses ranging from long flowing dresses to the floor to adorable cocktail dresses. The guys in our year surprised us by cleaning up really really nicely. Big change from the usual t-shirt and jeans. Just to mention a few, I thought Shaz looked amaazing in her mom’s dress. It was so perfect for red carpet! And Jasmine Tan’s dress was really elegant. Jean’s dress was really cute with the pastel colours and it was really refreshing to see Yvonne and Nobs in a dress. And I was really glad to see Jon there. The photobooth was actually really cool. It had a bit of an asian flavour with the lantern and everything.

The photo taking part took ages but it was worth it. It’s nice to see everyone there together all dressed up and having fun. The dinner was pretty good, soup was the best (hahaha). I quite liked the thankyou ’speeches’ in the form of a video that was played on three huge screens except for any part with me in it. It’s so embarrasing. Hahahah. It was a little sad though, especially when I saw pictures of May and stuff. Coz May’s left, and I still miss her. Then the disco was alright, fun in some parts where the songs were good, but awkward in other parts when the songs weren’t good. I’m surprised we only had about an hour and a tiny bit for dancing. I guess the photo sessions and the dinner took too long. For dinner, we got food served to our tables which felt really classy hahhaha.

I didnt stay over anywhere which I really regret but I guess I have to ‘compromise’ with my parents coz I’ve got so many more things to go to and do etc. And I did stay over at Min’s house the night before so yeah. I’m working hard on presents now for people for today and its taking a lot longer than I expected but its okay. I hope they’ll like it. And I’ll post some pictures of the prom here.

ONE MORE FUCKING EXAM TO GO! WOOHOOO.

Just finished my add math exam and thank god Paper 2 was great, so much easier than Paper 1. Paper 1 was alright but I’m pretty certain I’m not gonna score that well. So since exams are nearly over, you must have an after-exams celebration no? One more paper, one more paper. I’m glad its just multiple choice. I’m feeling sooooooo blank lately, its like exams are what my thoughts revolve around. How pathetic does that sound. I just cant wait to get them over and done with, have some freedom with of the lack of work your brain has to do without work and school. It’s now that I wish Brunei had more things to do so we can occupy all our free time. I mean, its not like we’re all rich enough to fly to 3 to 5 different countries all in the same space 9 weeks. Well, some of us are. I just dont want to stay in Brunei for the holidays. I’m so glad I’m going to Hongkong, and it makes me feel better knowing that Jon‘ll still be here in Brunei. Or at least I think so.

It’s so sad how he’s leaving so soon. Whats going to happen after? I dont know. I mean, its sad that all the year13s are leaving soon. You cant help but wonder if we’ll ever see them again. Some yes probably, others? Not so sure. Aww so depressing thinking about this.

ANYWAY, on a lighter note, I have a feeling this weekend is going to be brilliant. Party this thursday, Prom this friday, Jon & Munah’s this sunday. I cant wait! Beach outing sometime? More sleepovers? Mmm, One more day to go! Nine whole weeks of nothing. So much time to catch up with everyone. You’ll see maybe our entire year around and about tomorrow afternoon. Hahaha bye!
