of all the bad timing.

FUCK FUCK THIS IS SUCH FREAKING BULLSHIT. Raya is NOT tomorrow, which means we have school. I swear tomorrow will NOT be a good day. We’ve got some visit from Ms Duce tomorrow morning in Geo, doing an entire booklet that was meant to be holiday work in Maths, OOH this is a good one: watching Death Of A Salesman in English and Bio practicals after lunch.
BY THE WAY, WEAR YOUR BAJU TOMORROW. This includes the entire IB.
And I’ve got a few people to say yes already, so dont worry if you think you’re going to be the odd one out.
Get into the Raya Spirit
fireworks in my head.

‘Sigh’ is such an overused word and an overused action. HAHA dont you think so? I mean, come on guys
which one of you doesnt sigh. okay, actually i know a few who don’t. But despite your workload or the stress levels, you still sigh. When I only have one piece of work to do for tomorrow, I still sigh. When I have a whole shit load, I sigh even more. Hahahaahah I wonder when I started, I’m sure I didn’t sigh when I was back in.. Year2. I mean, how hard could it be writting out simple words? Okay, maybe I probably did sigh when I was back in Year2. Resting my fatass cheeks on my hand and putting my elbow on the table and sigh as I take my pencil and write ’spelling’ on the top of my page. Hhahaha the smaller days
Today was swell. Okay, some parts of it were good. Others, like the fact that Mrs H just asked us to read, an entire play for the holidays, isnt. OOH and I won my first chess game, Akmal let me win to be honest.
Sorry, this will be a SUPER short post. like one of those pointless ones. I’m so sorry!
I’ll post tomorrow, I’m hoping Wednesday would be a holiday but I don’t know. Fingers crossed!
okay, i’d probably look so shit in this dress but it looks great on Kate.
next plane home

I have a new motto, thanks Allen for sharing it with me, and its:
Time spent wishing is time wasted.
So no more giving a fuck about anything and just loosening up. ![]()
I really appreciate you listening and everything guys. Allen, Momo look out for Summer 2010. ![]()
and I’m sorry if I’m a little snappy, girls youknow the whole PMS-y stage.
OH and good news, I’m going to KL on the 7th to 11th. Means I can go meet up with Jae Chul and stuff. Maybe other people as well. I just want to get out of here, away from Brunei and away from everything here. Or if not, I just want to have a good Raya to keep my mind off things.
IB is not a bitch yet, but its already biting me in the ass for being lazy.
Economics test on Monday, Bio test on Tuesday. 25 pages of translations to do for Malay. Confuzzling essay on Death Of A Salesman for English.
what the fuck is this settling in report? It’s so pointless! Some eco-school ISB is. Wasted all this paper on envelopes and sheets of paper for some letters saying how much effort we put in. Most of us are lazy shits okay (I know I am). I’m so shocked I got an A in TOK :O
Does anyone dig the english Mrs H gave us? ![]()

I sent Kamil off yesterday at the airport. The little monster’s flying off to Toronto for good
Lucky, I wish he could take me and drop me off in BC. How weird not seeing him at my house on Sundays after brunch anymore! Aww I’m going to miss him
going to be so quiet with him gone. Naw I already miss him! All those times we’ve been a team in that Mario Racing thing and always getting #1? All those Cooking Mama episodes and everything.
Before that, I went to try out my baju and see if I had to get it altered again. And yeah, they mixed up the sewing stuff so the one that was meant to look more fancy is less fancy. Hahaha and they were pretty much too big. I’ve made two. So it should all be done by monday. Tuesday is Baju day guys!
don’t forget!
And at night, I went to Siew’s house for her, Brandon and Howie (her little brother)’s birthday party. There was two bouncers, one that was small and a massive one with a slide and quite a big pool at the bottom and yeah. There were all these little kids that went on the bigger bouncer instead. Oh Siew’s attic thing is freaking awesome. All the toys are cool AHAHA the tent and the cars. Sar, Mel and I went insane with all of them. HAAH sudden burst of ‘kid-ness’.
I was like the first one to get wet, because I took a step into the pool so I could climb up the steps but once I took a step in, I slipped and fell into the pool. HAHA. So typical of me to be so fucking clumsy and klutzy. Not proud of it at all. Sarah, Mel and I were the first ones to slide down. It was meant to be us three who got wet first at the same time, but I kind of messed it up. HAHA sorry! And we were the only ones sliding down for a while until April and Jack came in. Shit man, you get so scared of crashing into the little kids. And they climb up the thing like crazy, on the way up they pull your shirts and eveyrthing. So Mel was in the front this one time, and when the kids scrambled up, Mel was like: ‘HE GRABBED MY BOOB.’
I felt so at home with everyone there, and its not like I see them a lot. They’re just so much fun to be around! and HAHAHAHAHAA rex was there too. So random! But turns out they were cousins. Least I wasnt the only ISBian there. Andrew was there too. I haven’t laughed so much in ages!
I loved the chocolate fountain, the chocolate tasted heavenly! So orgasmic man, no joke. We literally licked the chocolate off our plates. We just piled marshmellows, grapes, strawberries, bananas all dipped in chocolate all onto our plates. I loved the marshmellows we dipped in and the cake fight. I loved the laughs. And the fact that they made me feel so at home. I loved the fact that all of them were just in one place and I could just relax with them and catch up. I loved the entire night. It was just AWESOME.
I better I get to see all you people soon especially you: Siew, Sarah, Mel A, Mel N, April, Brandon, Billy(Hamnoi), Douglas, Aman. You funny silly people.
And I’m going to do that cutting thing, because too much text isnt good for your eyes. HAHA now, if you want to see photos go click. This whole cutting biz is weird. I should get used to it. HAHAH
silhoutte dreams.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIEW!
You sexy booby (HAHAHAH) I swear this is like your 3rd birthday that I’ve known you
The first was with a few of us just chilling around at the food court, then it was last year at your house then it’s THIS YEAR. Again at your house!
Ooh gee you know I cant wait. I’m excited to finally see you girls and guys properly and dig into those tubs of ice cream and just talk about everything. Oh and can’t forget the fun outside though. The water and ice fights. I hope you had a really peachy day, and I’ll see you soon babes
Anyway, school was pretty err.. bland today. I was constantly trying to avoid Mr Toomer, Mr C, Mr Watkins and Ms Baneel because I wasn’t, pretty obviously, wearing dark shoes. In fact, I was wearing white/cream coloured gladiators. And apparently they were SUPER obvious, because I was wearing white pants. I swear, they’re so picky. They wont even let us wear leggings to cover our knees. How annoying!
Min and I didn’t really go to class properly after Lunch, we were messing around in Mrs C’s office with her doing some International Day arrangements and eating the candy in her room. Those dynamite mint candies with chocolate in the core are so good. Seriously, its so orgasmic when you get to the chocolate. HAHA okay, exaggeration there! In TOK, Liam and I were drawing people. You want to see? Okay, LIAM drew the pictures. I coloured them.
And at 2, the girls football people went to JIS to play our match. We won 3-1
It was great, I thought we didnt play THAT well (like me) because the field was so different compared to ISB’s and the sun was so abnormally bright and burning. But the outcome was really good.
Lorna, Siobhan and Nobs played amazingly. So did all the other girls, you all were great. I really cant wait for Phuket. I’m really bummed out that the guys can’t go though! I heard they couldn’t get enough players.
Oh you know what else is GAY? I cant remember who (not that it matters
) but now I’ve got this bangkak near my right ankle (same ankle I tore my ligament on) and it hurts like a POO. So my dad went and got that chinese-y oil thing to go and rub it to make it heal or something (some chinese thing as well). And do you ever get that feeling where instead of crying in pain, you laugh? Yeah, hahaha so i started hugging a pillow SUPER tight and lay on my back laughing uncontrollably. Man you must be reading this and thinking ‘holy shit, she’s so retarded!’ but come on, you MUST know someone that does that too.
HAHAHA the drawings are a little.. sick. Especially the one of Tom if you look closely. Hahahahahaha
Anyway, so now my foot’s strapped up for the night. Yummy. And smelly.
I’m going to finish off my geo now. Bye!
for everything that’s happened.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIEEEEEE. Gee whirl-lickers (as we used to say), YOU’RE SEVENTEEN! How weird and wonderful. We’re all AGING. So let me write a super late goodbye letter and a birthday card/post thing
So it all started way back in Year 4, when you came into our Ms Masterman class. Oh god she was crazy. In a good and a bad way. then we didn’t really talk until about Year7. I swear, that clubby house thing was still originally ours
we used to always chill there during break with Ella, Jess, Yaszy, Jen, Nabil, Nicki and stuff. I still remember that house being bombarded with little kids and there was this one little boy that started rocking the pole of the house and it looked like he was humping it. HAHAHA our faces at that very moment were priceless. Gosh those were the days. Year later, the school TORE it down.
Then came year8, those were the nerdy awkward just-became-a-teen days. I chopped my hair off, Ella left, Ann came up with your name ‘Chooey’, and we all had our little Takilah Gang.
I loved our little gang. Jess would dare to do something outrageous and Maymay would laugh and we’d go to Discos and they’d do the monkey dance.
And in year 9, people started leaving. Jen flew off to Singapore before BGIC, Nicki went to England, Nabil and Jess betrayed us for JIS (pffffttt). What happened to our Takilah Gang?
That was the first year we did BGIC remember? As true delegates. Passing tons of frivolous notes around, getting to know people from around SE Asia, dressing all smart. We were so excited huh? And back at school, you bil and i used to go apeshit crazy and run around on the field tackling each other and have those water fights with our water bottes and get all soaked.
Year10, that was when we first started having drinking parties at Empire. Hahahaha then you and Gracie came up with the John Tucker Must Die. I loved you guys
I loved the fact that you guys had my back. We would dance with each other in Discos, going insane when Daddy Yankee came on
Then we knew we all had ATOOOO, running around and ordering McD’s while we were at Empire and not collecting it AHAH. It mustve gotten all cold and mouldy. Sneaking into the buffet and sneaking food out of there in the mornings after at Empire. Jumping like insane monkeys on the beds, making videos of you acting like some ghost while Grace screams and cowers in the corners like some lunatic. AWWWW I really really miss those days
Then came our hongkong trip, hahaha having you stay with me for nearly 2 weeks was awesome
i remember not being able to sleep for ages and just sitting up and talking about everything until the early hours of the morning. Shopping like crazy and trying to limit our spending, looking around for cheap ass food (which we found) which were given in HUGE ass portions, trying to be all posh when we went into designer stores. It was so thrilling to have that sort of freedom
we used to monkey around at Winnie’s house, and roll around on the matresses with uncontrollable laughter, trying to keep a straight face while having those spicy pink masks on that Winnie did for us. Eating sushi on the floor, and everything. Going to Haegen Daes twice a day and eating ice cream for breakfast instead of proper food without moms lecturing us. Eating two donuts each at Krispy Kreme’s, lame pole dancing on the MTR, acting like the old woman next to us was our best friend. Buying LOADS of girly stuff at Sasa and trying on clothes for fun?
that was the best trip to hongkong ever. that was beyond amazing.
Remember that job we had after our trip? at the summer camp with kids at the RBA? Hahaha just skiving our duties and sitting at the cafe when it opens at 10, ordering french fries nearly everyday and sharing them with Siobhan, Sean and James. Having Savannah’s little sister Florence chase after us like crazy. You having that major crush on that Dad. HAHAAH going to visit turtles near the Yatch Club. Hahaha that was so tiring, I remember feeling SO happy when we got our pay.
I remember my bad girl phase when we were around in gadong. Hahahaha that was funny. I remember you G and i alwyas going to Gadong on weekends, hanging out at West Street or Chill and always ordering the Baked Mac&Cheese. I swear I still think that tastes awesome. I have to go soon, so I’m just going to jump to a conclusion.
It’s difficult to decide whether.. On the one hand… On the other hand.. In conclusion, based on what I’ve written.. HAHAHA WHAT BULLSHIT. HAHAHA anyway, you’ve been a real friend choo. been there for me when I needed you, we’ve had laughs and tears and everything in between. and It’s just so weird that you’re not here in Brunei anymore
I hope Aussie’s treating you well, and email me anything that happens. Oh and give me your number, so we can talk sometime
Takilah Gang sleepover at Empire soon?
you know it. Hahahaha I miss you like elephant loads (tonnes=tons HAHAHAHAHAHA lame) and really hope that you’re okay over there.
Brunei’s lacking some ATOO so come back and visit us if you can ![]()
you know I love you chooey <333333
and happy birthday again gorgeous :D hugs.
love, spezzy.
XXXXXXXXXX
pinky promise.

Today kickstarted really well. But it really really sucks balls that the rest of the day had a lack of.. umm spark
I missed him. Hahhhaah moving on, Hazim played in the Winning Eleven thing at lunch, second match he’s had. First one was against Isa and he won 4-1. And this match was against Rajeev and Hazim won fucking 7-1. Can someone say ‘pro’? Hhahaa hope you win zim! You make it seem so easy, it’s INSANE. I swear if I want to seriously learn to play and kick ass, you’re the guy I’m coming to. HAHAAHAH Rais lost. S’okay best friend. Lawwwl. And apparently, Ms Baneel went psycho today at you guys? No clue!
Afterschool, I helped Mrs C out with the U13 Girls Basketball training for a bit, then I had to run off to help Mr Hollis with the Gymnastics, to ensure one’s safety. Hahaha i dont know, but it was fun. Wassim’s little brother is the cutest little thing! I’ll take a photo with him next week
I swear, he’s adorable. So are a whole bunch of the girls. I want to see if I’m allowed to help out with the drills in Basketball, then head over to Gymnastics after they’ve finished their stretches. So I can have half half. When Gymnastics ended, Lorna and I just wandered around talking and stuff. And started teasing Liam, he’s so fun to tease.
hahahaha no, i dont have a thing for Liam okay. godd he’s just funny.
- hahahaa mmm comfy?
- CHRIS!!
- the twin towers, I was standing and I was as tall as them sitting down.
- jake calls this the asian tourist pose.
- woah shit, hahhaa 4th picture of liam in a row. Not bad, not bad!
I’ll post up pictures of last night in my post tomorrow. We went out for Capers last night. It was Haz, Hui Min, Ann Lee, Lau, Jean, Rais, Jake, Siobhan, Arthur, Janrius, Azim and of course Jasmine. The dinner was pretty much for her before she leaves. Nabil was there too! Surprise surprise, havent seen her for AGES. It’s all cool, we’re seeing her again this Thursday at our ISB vs JIS footie match. Anyway, dinner was good
The food at Capers is yummy, I quite liked the Fettucine Diavola (something like that). It’s got a zing of spice in it which makes it really tasty and the pasta’s cooked nicely. The Penne Ariabbiata Pollo is delicious too. And three of us ordered the Penne Lamb Shank (which is also good). I shouldve tried Min and Jan’s ravioli! Man it looked really good but I said no when they asked
It was relaxing to finally have a big group outing, and just hang out and stuff. Hahahahah a little messy when we had to pay the bill though, so Jean and I took charge and just got it all sorted. If you go to Capers, go for the All You Can Eat A La Carte. Seriously. It is really worth it.
AWW SOME JIS PEOPLE ARE GOING TO PARIS THIS SATURDAY. Chung Tee told me. Fuck they’re going for a week and it’s just for anyone who wants to go or something and people who do French. Shit they’re so lucky, you lucky bitches.
:( have fun though
Go find Gaspard and give him my love (L) HAHAHA Amirah, if you’re reading this its okay. You can have Gaspard, I want Ben. Stick to your guy! HAHA
see all of you tomorrow!
you brighten my day.
September 22, 2008
school’s not too bad nowadays, so is life. i reckon it’s because there’s something to look forward to each day. hush hush, no revealing secrets but wotevah. It’s not a big deal anyway, it’s not EVEN a deal. I just feel so much more free.
As each day eggs on, we just get a tiny little bit closer to:
1) Raya:
Yeah I’m seriously looking forward to Raya this year, I bet my hopes are going to be destroyed though. which sucks balls. Hahaha but anyway, yeah cant wait for that.
2) Phuket:
And I’m SO hoping our guys can come with us. Mainly because it’d just be more fun, and also we can go and cheer them on when we dont have any games. Instead of being all clueless as to what we should do with our spare time. We dont usually have enough time to swim and have a good nap, so we just kind of collapse on our beds and/or wander around the campus. I cannot wait to finally be back on the ground of Phuket. Hahahaha get all chickened out on Bangla Road, get lost with no one’s number to call, bargaining for cheap, cute and chic clothes (woah, alliteration hahahaah) and just chilling on the hill we call our own. Right Lorna? And Jean?
God I really do miss that.
3) Qatar: (which is still not 100% confirmed)
I really can’t wait to debate with people from all over the world. It just sounds so cool, and so surreal that I actually got picked. And that I’m actually going to QATAR. Shit, I know I might sound really lame but Qatar just sounds like some exotic place. Apparently it’s like Singapore (Doha) and I’m SO freaking excited. I mean, the debate and the whole conference would be fantastic! Of course I wouldn’t mind having uber hot guys there, and some brilliant shopping locations. HAHA but I’m going for the MUN. The trip to Qatar is for MUN. And that MUN is going to be the BOMB.
Oh and also, I MIGHT be going to Singapore for Netball as well
Holy shit, so many trips. I will be a happy grrrrrrrrl.
You know what I really miss about our primary years? All those teampoint things, I love the fact that we got teampoints. It just made everything so much more fun. Sticking them up, being all showoff (the childish ‘I got a team point! I got a team point’) and feeling that euphoria when your team (especially Red team, Red Team all THE WAY) wins at the end of each year
HEY, aww guys if you’re reading this, at least comment! The number of hits does NOT reflect the number of comments. So you know I love you lah, and drop a comment. Hahahahahah
fancy gems
September 22, 2008
America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11! well I cant say I really like it, but I’ll just watch it. I’m starting from Episode 1, I swear there’s this girl called Elina and she’s gorgeous! Like she has this really nice face. Sheena seriously looks like Kimora, like FINALLY there’s an Asian girl in ANTM. I really really find the whole ’space’ theme annoying. ‘Alpha Jay, Beta J? Are you ready?’ GOD its so annoying. And the whole button pressing thing was so fake. It looked like Tyra wasnt even pressing the buttons! So Isis is like a heshe, but the girls are being so bitchy about it. Some of the girls are really accepting, which is lovely. But others make it so uncomfortable for her, and it’s so mean how they bitch about her gender thing behind her back all the time.
I swear Marjorie is so cute, she’s always so jumpy and everything. And I think she’s so sweet looking! And who do I not like, I dont like Clark. I thought she was pretty in a Blake Lively sort of way, but her personality is just.. not cool. And from all the pictures in the first photoshoot, so far I really like Marjorie and Elina. Two favourites for now. Lauren Bree photographs quite nicely (the judges seem to love her), especially the one with the balloon. But she looks so like blank in real life, and I’m bored of models who photograph like her. So typical. Thats why I love Marjorie and Elina, they’re different and gorgeous at the same time. I looove Elina, I still do. She looks great with the new red hair after the makeover. And she photographs brilliantly as well. Her face is stunning. And she’s not stick-skinny like the other girls. Marjorie seems to have a different face in all her photos, its great. She seems very versatile. Enough about this laahh so boring, photo time.
- this photoshoot looks so thrilling!
- I quite like her tattoo
- I reallly like her dress as well.
- this was the very first photoshoot, for someone who said how nervous they were, she seemed so comfortable there!
- I really really cant decide whether I like Marjorie a Brunette or a Blondie!
- I love this picture of Tyra! and definitely this picture in general.
- jean’s collection of fancy gems, minus the biscuits.
Anyway, today I went out for Brunch with Ann and Jean, then stayed at Ann’s house. We pretty much snacked on Pringles and Fancy Gems. You know those? SO OLD SCHOOL, but we LOVE it! So funny jean bites the biscuit off (biscuits just aren’t in the same league as the iciing man) and she collected them on the top of the pringles thing. Then we got ann to ‘donate’ some of the icing part. Since she loves the biscuits (weirdo) AHAHAHAH jaykay jaykay. And we were watching Parent Trap. Yeaaahh old movie, sue me lah. Lindsay was so cute back then. then yeah. Dinner at Escapades after. Temaki’s are awesome man, the handrolls. I love them.
