Aww it was Rais’s last day today! :( That stupid douche, I can’t believe he’s leaving us.
So OBVIOUSLY we had to take another million photos of his face (as usual). I already have about a billion that Jake took of him or that he took of Jake or that they took together anyway.

But surprisingly! We were taking pictures in general then there was this hilarious one of Liam then Rais got obsessed and started stalking Liam. HAHA oh my god, Liam was so pissed after a while because we wouldn’t delete that picture of him. Then Jake and Rais were bugging him throughout the entire lesson. Kasian eh, so I deleted the photo. And he thought I was lying again. WANKER, I helped him and this is what I get. Hahaha naw jaykayz.

Geo was a complete waste of time, our table with Tom, Jake, Rais, Arthur, Sheng, Liam and I didn’t do any work at all. I just finished off a bit of the questions so I was done. It was all Rais’ fault I swear. And I started talking to Arthur about my problems. HAHAHA he’s a good listener! If you ignore all his attempts to look like some Swedish/Some-European shrink. Naw, Arthur’s cool.

After a bit of Malay, we went down for the Movember assembly. It was sort of entertaining.
Results were:
1st – Mr Edwoods
2nd – Mr Toomer
3rd – Dinesh.

Ms Hancox was involved in it too! But it was so gross, she had to grow her armpit hair, and she showed it to EVERYONE in assembly when they were walking down the ‘runway’ thing. Another Movember assembly next week. Ooh and Siew was at ISB! :D So nice to see her. AND SHAZ AS WELL. :)

After that, my mom and I went to eat some Korean food. It’s satisfactory, I often go there but I miss the authentic Korean food in KL  It’s unbelievably delicious there. There are all these Koreans in a certain part in KL and so the Korean food is really good. The BBQ here isn’t good though. Plus its halal there so there’s pork missing.

Anyway, I got ready for HMS Pinafore at home. Started at like 3.30 and left the house to get to empire at 5.30 HAHA so long man. But meant that since I was done, I had nothing to do during the 2 hours before the show. So I ended up helping people with their hair, taking pictures and chilling with the guys in the Green Room with Spazzy.

The number of times we screwed up in tonight’s show was insane. But I think Saturday Night will be WAY better. I’m going to take a shower and get all that mousse and hairspray out of my hair and layers of makeup off my face. :) ciao!

P.S. just so you know, you’re an incredibly sad person.

November 27, 2008

Just got back from a birthday party of a 1year old kid, my mom’s friend’s granson. At I-lotus, it was okay I guess. what made it better was that there were people I actually knew there (who were my age) like Siobhan, Arthur and the rest of the Goh family. Kevin and Chen were there too.

Anyway, I was really glad we had that all day 9-hour-long rehearsal at empire. It was actually FUN. Like I wouldn’t mind having another full day’s worth of rehearsals. We sort of started at around half past 8 then just went through finale’s of both acts, then act 1. Lunch break at 12.30 and we just all hung out and stuff.

It’s nice when we know we’ve done well, all of us feel so pumped up and we’re feeling good about ourselves and it just makes us feel so proud of ourselves. That we know it’ll be okay. I’m nervous for tomorrow and saturday! ESPECIALLY SATURDAY. So many people! But it’s okay, at least I’ve got other people with me.

We ran around doing our hair and makeup and stuff. That was a little hectic. Makeup flying everywhere, I’m going to do my makeup and hair at home tomorrow! I dont want to lose my makeup again like during West Side Story :( I lost my MAC eyeshadow and my Lancome mascara! And those two were my FAVOURITES. I’m just going to bring a few things to touch-up today.

I don’t think we look that bad! I mean, when we first saw our costumes we were all like WHATTT. But onstage it doesnt look as bad. And the guys look SO SMART! You’ll see what I mean if you watch us :) All the girls look so lovely with the makeup and the hair and everything.

haha we saw this in the cinema. PAINFUL memory.

HAHA trying to imitate okay.

HAHA gotta love these guys.

MAIL-LIAM! :D

I really want to upload some other photos but it’s usually ones with us in our costumes and everything so I don’t really want to give anything away. So I haven’t got that many photos to post up, I’ll do a nice lengthening picture post soon :)

It dragged on til about 5.30 though, then I had to rush home and get ready for the I-lotus dinner thing. Long day. I’ll see you at school tomorrow or at night at Empire :D xo

I’ve officially had my first BIG MAC.
And I must say, I don’t get whats the big deal. I’M SORRY! :(

Anyway, we ordered McD’s for lunch today, hence the french fries and Big Mac. It was a nice change for once. :) My day was pretty sad hahahaha. But what made it even worse was our last period in Bio. Yeah, it was just sad. It’s been a strange day. I’m looking forward to the all-day rehearsal tomorrow. I don’t know if that comment was sarcastic or not. I’m going both ways :) It’ll be a laugh, I’m sure. It always is, especially when the guys look silly, like Liam when he’s dancing being me and Sojo HAHAHA bless!

BUT in lunch, all of us were involved in this little contract. Nichola, Schmitmann (Chris), Min, Mark and I signed it. You’ll all find out what it is in June 2009. :) HAHA ooh and the window of the common room door broke. It’s a really pretty crack though! Seriously, if you want to check it out, go ahead. No naming for who broke it!

hahaha whats all the fuss!

November 25, 2008

I’ve just realised how much I swear on a daily basis. So I’m gonna try not swearing. Someone slap me if I swear.

I can’t believe HMS is THIS weekend. Oh and by the way, if you guys want to come watch on Friday, CALL ME OR DROP A COMMENT. Or anything really. I’m selling tickets. It’s $10 for kids or ISB students and $15 for adults. Or just come anyway, I’m sure it’ll be good :) It’s on Friday and Saturday night. There’s a matinee too but thats only for local schools. Yknow we’re gonna be at empire for at least 9 hours this saturday? thats AGES.

I hate the benches, the green paint stuff comes off and sticks to your hands, pants and your ass. It’s not nice at all. Same with the poles (not that I touch them much, ooer HAHA)

Notice how pointless this post is. :(

It’s 6.20 at night, I’m sitting here looking over my English Oral Presentation while eating HiChew. I sit here on my chair, exhausted and sunburnt. All tan and reddish now with faint tan lines that when I scratch my arm – it’s itchy, there’s marks showing where my fingers came in contact with my skin. And these marks aren’t red, they’re the lighter shade. It’s the total opposite.

urgghhh how painful and sick-looking :( BURRRN

I just came back from Football Funday. This year, it was much much bigger BUT it wasn’t well organised I reckon. None of us knew what was going on, not many people did. The times were SO messed up and no one knew when they were playing. We didn’t get free shirts like last year! Oh well.

The u19 boys IGCSE team drew their first game. The ISB B team won the first game because the team they were gonna play against didn’t turn up. Same thing happened with the ISB A team. HAHA

Anyway, we didn’t have a goalie because Ayesha was playing in another team so we had like ‘tryouts’ for goalies. Jo, Nobs, Lorna and I were the decent possible goalies. Lorna didn’t really want to go in goal so I played in goal for our first game. It was against the ‘Babes’. We beat them 5-0 :D Nobs scored a hat-trick, someone scored another and Lorna scored one too. I only touched the ball once as a goalie. HAHA our first goal was literally in the first second of the game. There were only 3 players in the ‘Babes’ team and so we scored from the halfway line.

Second game, I can’t remember who it was against. A team with Casey in it. She used to be in our grade last year. We beat them 4-0, Lorna scored, Ann scored and I scored too :) I did some header from Lorna’s corner and apparently it was a mean header but I wish it went in though :( it would’ve been awesome!

Third game, we won 4-0 again. Lorna (superstar man her) scored all 4 goals. She’s amazing :) hahaha then we got into the finals. Finals were against Ayesha and Ama’s team. I had to play goalie again (because Mr Hollis said I was good at it). Ama scored in like.. hahaa the first few minutes. Crap I knew I could’ve saved that but I didn’t fully commit. So gay, same with the second goal. ESPECIALLY WITH THE SECOND. But I made a few saves and I’ve never even played as a goalie or anything before. So I’ll just get over it :) We came in second! That’s good enough.

It was just too bad for the boys though, they played really well. For the IGCSE team and ISB A, they both went into penalties against other teams and lost in the penalties.

The u15 girls came first! I’m really happy for them, sorry I only got to watch one match of yours but we were on the other side of the school so it was impossible to run back and forth :( The u13 girls came second as well. I thought the ISB girls did really well overall!

Football funday was meant to end at around 1 but it ended up finishing at nearly 4. The Muara Bella (or something like that)’s cheer was awesome! HAHA we ended up joining in when they were doing it and they cheered for us too. Twas cool. My mom and I went to CountryPatch to eat after. Food was goood.

Mm time to finish off my work. And apply on some ALOE VERA! Yumm.

let me show you the way

November 23, 2008

I can’t believe how tired I actually am. Liam pointed this out just now when I was chatting to him. After tomorrow, we would’ve woken up early on all 7 days of the week. But anyway, FOOTBALL FUNDAY TOMORROW! I can’t wait!

Today, we had to wake up to be at school by 8 for HMS. Had our rehearsal then Min and I stayed back with Shotaro and See Kyeong until 11.30 then went over to Nichola’s house. We just ate and watched more than half of Ratatouille and it was SO cold in the living room. Ama and I drove to Ayamku to buy some chicken and we discovered a shortcut from somewhere near Ama’s house to Nicki’s house :D Ama was so happy HAHA

When I went back to Nicki’s house, Mark T and I were cooking. HAHA we were deepfrying these spring roll sort of things. They were actually kind of good! So proud of our cooking skills man. Even though they didn’t look that great, especially some that weren’t folded properly and had its insides exploded out. One of them looked good though! We were so proud of that one. HAHA

HAHAHAA and the rest just look retarded. One looks like a chicken wing! :O

We found some Absolut Raspberry and Min had brought some Sparkling Grape Juice so we mixed it together. It was too early in the day to take shots anyway. It was like 2 in the afternoon HAHA and by the way, the two mixed together tastes REALLY good. You can’t taste the alcohol. Mmm I want some more now. It’s a lovely combination :D

ama you're so cute!

ama's so cute!

The rest of the time we were chilling around and about and talking and stuff. AND EATING. Oh my god, we ate loads. Cream puff after cream puff, spring rolls, fried chicken, pasta. Our arteries will clog up from all that oil and grease. :O okay, no. TOUCHWOOD.

trying to be all gangsta HAHA and obviously.. failing.

Ama tried to teach everyone else to play Big Fish Small Fish, but that screwed up. AHHA then we tried to teach them how to play’ Leng-Leng-Tsat-Bang’ but it didn’t work out too well either. So we gave up. HAHA

I left around 5 and went to get my haircut (after SO many months of letting it grow out). There’s pretty much no difference. HAHA but it feels better. After that, went to pick up my dad from the airport then we went out for dinner. Throughout the entire dinner, strangely I felt soo tired. My parents just kept discussing and talking and arguing about all this family biz about my grandmother (who is just a little messed up in the head). So I just tried to block it all out and rest my eyes.

I tried to get some work done using two computers with internet (Lester’s and mine) but it didn’t work. I ended up chatting to Junaid and Wilson about guys and Liam, Fauzi and John about randomest things. HAHA not at all a very productive day. :) but its all good, it was fun.

Day Three and Four combined/compressed.

phuket at around 6am in the morning. gorrrrjus!

phuket at around 6am in the morning. it was so gorgeous! i'd love to wake up to that.

First we played against BIS A and we lost in penalties. We were up 1-0 but we slacked a little, made a bad decision and they scored. And we lost in penalties. And then we played BIS B and beat them again. We also watched the BIS A boys play against JIS and JIS won 1-0. That was a great match to watch though. Both teams were so good! That should have been the finals, thats what I reckon.

Anyway, for the girls Over15. Patana came 1st (I wish TES came first though) and TES came 2nd. I can’t remember who came third though. ICS I think. For the Over15 guys, ICS came 1st. JIS came 2nd. BIS A came 3rd. Some of the guys were so good though! it was super intense to watch. Imagine watching football at a professional level! It’d be beyond belief. Ooh and the u15 girls came 4th.

At night, we went to Patong Beach and went through Bangla Road after. I was so disappointed with it though! Bangla Road was SO calm and plain compared to last year. All those trannies dressed up in crazyass revealing outfits with beads hanging around their bodies who towered over all of us. The Elvis impersonation and all these other strange slightly disturbing things. NONE were there this year! :( the shopping wasn’t too bad though, just cheap stores around and about. The people were so funny to talk to. This lady went ballistic and all wild when we wouldn’t buy anything. HAHA she was so desperate. All these guys kept saying they loved us. And they all believed that Mr Hollis was ALL of our dads. So he’s got 10 daughters, Jean and I are adopted sisters from Mongolia. Our mom is Ms Hancox. This guy said our ‘parents’ are ’strong’. HAHA oh my stars. This sales-woman hugged me because I told her I was adopted. AHHAHA It was our last night in Phuket so it was kind of sad.

Next day, the day that we were leaving Phuket, we had our last pancakes in the cafeteria hall (we had pancakes like EVERYDAY, they were addictive) and left for the airport. We saw cows on the way out though! HAHA we were so amazed and amused. So saad hahaahah anyway, we saw the JIS people at the airport. They were staying in Singapore for the night instead of getting back on Sunday ’round midnight. Lucky asses :( Hahahaha

the ass of a cow. mmm yeah very yummy.

(

why were they so much tastier than brunei's donuts :(

We went to Bugis to shop. AND WE BUMPED INTO JASMINE AND JEN! well they couldn’t contact us so it was just amazing sheer luck that they bumped into us. which was cool :D We didn’t really stay in Bugis Street for long, it was just insanely crowded and it wasn’t good for Ann because she felt sick. But we still bought some stuff anyway :) Jean and I found this accessories store when the rest of the girls sat down somewhere and I wanted to buy these headband things but they were like $7.90 for 3 of them. And it wasn’t really worth it so oh well.

)

it was really great seeing them again! ;)

And the flight back to Brunei was just sort of quiet. I got back home at 12. I was SO tired and we still had to go to school the next day. I just dumped my bags and collapsed on my bed. But made myself get up and shower hahahahaha.

HOLY SHIT MY FACEBOOK UPLOAD-60-PICTURES-AT-ONE-TIME WORKS!
Okay, photos from Phuket are COMING!

See today wasn’t the greatest day but someone just made my day quite that bit better and easier to get through. So thank you, it really helped. Today was a little tough. Overload of bad news, one after the other after the other.

One more year until you can drive! From all those days that we used to fantasize about Wallace Huo (wasnt there that Wallace Huo Angels shit? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH) and Gino (not that we still don’t in Gino’s case hahaha he’s pretty hot man ;) ) to now when we’re in IB. :) Great job in Phuket by the way! Some of your tackles were greaaaaaaaaaaaat. Are you doing basketball this year? OOKAYOKAY, have a really really good birthday yeah? LOVE YOU!

Anyhooots, the disco was tonight and I have to say, that went pretty well. :) Rahim and Daryl won the Singing Bees. The music was okay, except for the techno. when the techno came on, it was okay in the beginning but then after a while the tunes were just too repetitive and it just wasnt something you’d want to dance to. It was much better this time as well, there were less circles and the dancefloor was more packed. :) loads of people were dancing and in a great mood which was great, at least there’s one thing that makes it more like a club or something. circles just make it so.. awkward and boring!

I just took a whole bunch of pictures with Fauzi’s camera. Hhaahah felt so pro. There was all this ass-grabbing between girls HAHA (especially Chloe, tsk tsk) and naw it was alright. Dancing and just standing around was SO hot in the hall. I swear, everyone was sweating buckets. The hall looks different when you turn the lights off and have the bright random-coloured lights on to when the normal fluorescent lights come back on. It’s kind of strange in a good way.

Shame the music stopped at around 10.30 though. There wasn’t much dancing you could do seeing as we had to listen to the band, and the singing bees contestants. I thought all of you did great though by the way! All the finalists were guys, where were the girls! :O

HMS in the morning, then a get-together at Nicki’s. I’m going to turn in now. Night! :D

football in fuck-ett.

November 18, 2008

Day Two

First Match was against Patana:
We lost 1-0 but actually we scored. The ball looked like it went out so the Patana coach started screaming ‘OUT, IT WENT OUT’ and the ref still said ‘play on’ so lorna played on and she SCORED. Then the ref decided to listen to the friggin’ coach and disallowed our goal. Then Patana scored so we lost. Nuh.

Second Match was against ICS (Int. Community School):
I man-marked their best player (that we saw last year, #7) and she ended up getting really annoyed at me. But least I took her out of the game. She’s a really really nice footballer and she’s a left-footer. We had loads of chances and some of our shots hit the post and others so bad timing I guess. We drew that game 1-1.

Third Match was against BIS B:
We won this one 2-0. Hahahah this game was FIERCE. Siobhan tackled this girl, then tackled her again and crippled her. I tackled Miriam but I felt super bad after but anyway, we’re friends now. She’s really sweet. Hahahaha the BIS boys were saying I took down their midget. HAHA I was marking the goalie at one point then she swore at me. HAHAHA how lovely huh. :) ‘GET OUT OF MY WAY, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING? GET OUT. OF. MY. WAY.’ So eloquent.

In general, the day wasn’t that great. The refs were crap but no point in complaining. Just have to play to the whistle. Ooh and how great, hahaha I’m known as YESSZZZ to the BIS boys. Naw, they’re awesome.

Anyway, we went to Central Something Festival at night. It was nyeehhh, well it had Zara :) which is always good enough. I regret not buying this other shirt though! I guess I have to wait til some other time. But we sort of chilled at Starbucks, and went around in the department store and found a few things from this quirky store :) Bought some sushi erasers and pencil thing. It’s cute! And these pink boxes to put some stuff in. Hahahahah
