HEY. It’s been SUCH an exhausting 12-24 hours.
This is foreshadowing for a sudden appearance of eyebags I tell you!

We had to reach the airport in Brunei at 6pm so we did. Chloe and Mrs Hollis came to send us off! So sweeet lah And so we had to kill time inside the airport place so we used the phone to call people’s houses (land lines only). Our flight was 9 hours long and we arrived in Dubai at 4am in the morning (Brunei time). which is about 1am in Dubai time.

I had Kiera Knightley as company with her movie ‘The Duchess’. It was not too bad I sat next to Sojo and Mrs P, so eventually I got bored of watching movies and listening to music so I fell asleep. The seats in planes are SO uncomfortable we suffered from stiffness, cramps and pins and needles. That sort of thing would definitely happen when you sit in one spot for too long. Oh yeah, twas the first time I used eye masks and seen earplugs! HAHA soo sad. *sNOORRTTTTTttt*

Once we got to Dubai airport, we had to walk for ages and there was this guy who was sitting three rows behind us who was not bad, and Cute-guy was walking behind us when we got out of the plane and Sojo went: ‘YESZ, SIX O’CLOCK.’ So I turned around, and saw him staring at us too. HAHAHA made it SO OBVIOUS that we were checking him out. Nice one Sojo. And later on, some woman waved at him. Oohhlalaa! HAHA but she was old.

Things here are really quite expensive. 6pieces of chicken nuggets and an apple pie cost me US$5 Thats like $9 brunei. I wanted this lipgloss from Dior I’ve been wanting to get recently but they didn’t have it at the airport. I was like WHAT? And May Anne found this really pretty shade of lipgloss from MAC but it was out of stock. So we’re waiting to go to Villagio to get the two

I’ll blog again later, Im sitting on some comfy chairs with footrests with Sita and its making sleep a very appealing idea. Plus my laptop battery’s nearly dead and our flight to Qatar is in 2 hours. Byebyee!

went visiting around with Ann. then came back to my place after Jean’s and we played Guitar Hero World Tour with cousins, the brother, Ann, Debby and Jay. Hahaha I must say, we didn’t fail that much! HAHA we’re such noobZz. Fuck, i can’t believe we’ve got school tomorrow. I mean, for the first day you’re meant to be up late with people and things! GOD, instead of preparing for school and preparing to wake up at 6am the next day.

How on earth am I going to resist an entire tray of tiramisu in the fridge? Ahh, my aunt and uncle’s gone. But anyway, it’s been absolutely gay without electricity. Like Ann said, it’s like Temburong. Getting bitten by SO many mosquitos and sleeping in humid weather. It is sick.

On saturday, I went for sushi for dinner with some family friends and family and I bumped into Han first and he was with Nicki and co. So I ended up sitting with them coz they were definitely better company I was so relieved to find people I knew who were my age there. HAHA

Anyway, it’s chinese new year tomorrow! I watched Inkheart today, it’s err alright but I missed the end because I had to go to the chinky new year eve dinner with family and people. But apparently, the movie wasn’t that great overall anyway. I thought it was.. nuh mediocre.

Spent chinese new year eve having Korean food at Kiulap It’s not very good but oh well, korean food is korean food. Can’t wait to go to Korea (one day) or KL (soon) to have some decent Korean meals

MY ELECTRICITY IS BACK! And I am so exhausted its not funny. On a super random side note, I’ve learnt to play Mahjong! HAHA but im so insanely blur. Anyway, I am going to be off now. I want to chat to some people so FOCUS.

its raining .. rain

What a strange day yesterday. First I’m on the way to school and I see the entire side of the road near school, with houses and cars etc, all flooded. Second, we’re at school and there’s no electricity. So the entire secondary school has registration in the basketball court. And some people couldn’t even get to school because of the rain/flooding.

We had Geo with Mr C first double period so we ended up not doing class and we all sat around in a circle in the hall talking about things (that were sort of geography related). And he offered to buy us ALL drinks or whatever we wanted from the PTA. I was like WHAA-?? But only 3 of us out of nearly 20 went and got a drink.

Break got extended by 10 minutes and so we sort of joined classes for Maths and Elaine, Miguel and I did almost nothing. Hahaha and school finished at 10.25. But some of us like Amirah and I didn’t have a ride til 11.45. So I think it was the two of us plus May Anne and Mrs Hollis in English. Talking about things.

Anyway, boring boring boring after that. And my second aunt and uncle are here from hongkong! She’s a BRILLIANT cook. My mom and her have bought all these ingredients enough to make 5 cakes in the next few day. No joke. I wish I had her cooking skills. So we went to Thien Thien in Gadong to eat coz hongky chicken rice is different and just as we finished ordering, the power cut off. Greaaat. So we had like a candlelit dinner. And once we’d finished, parking lots at that block were suddenly really empty. The roads were pretty jammed so it took us about half an hour to get back home when it usually takes us 5-10minutes. My dad thought he was being smart trying to use these other ways to get home, haha yeah dad, very smart. *rolls eyes* HAHA

And as we were driving home, it was unusually dark around Mata-mata. I was like.. Oh fuck. So I ended up sleeping at 9 (SO PROUD OF MYSELF. GOODBYE EYEBAGS ) in my mom’s room because my room is scary with the window open. Hahaha fuck man, you can see everything through my windows even with the windows closed. I can JUST imagine the silhoutte of a head or a limb slowly appearing from any of the 4 corners of the window. FAAKKK.

But anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM have a really really good one.

Anyyyyyyyyyyyway, we had a birthday dinner for Mr J and Steve just now. from that dinner, i think i’ve all those pounds have gone to my fl-abs + not so nice booty. So much for healthy eating for 09!  As usual, pictures will be up later. Aaron’s got much better ones. Becoth my camera sucks donkeh bolls maan. I need to get a new one.

Surprisingly, I can concentrate on my work better when I’m out in Gadong! I was with Ann for a bit at Coffee Bean doing some work for BGIC then we moved to Cheezbox with Jean + Fareed and finished our work off. Trouble is, our laptops are friggin’ heavy I bet my shoulders are lopsided now. This should be a ritual. To work every Sunday, leaving Fridays and Saturdays PREEEEE. Ish. And eventually this work session will pay off! hopefully.

Ok ok. coz I love you Min, you sick person. You can be mentioned GET BAY-TTER BELI BELI SOON YO. I need you alive man. I’m not waiting three weeks til the next time I see you! I must say, I still find what you told me very funny (what the doctor said) hahahaaahahaha thats a hilarious guess. school is suddenly a lot quieter without you. ok seriously, get well soon!

Since its the weekend and I’ve strangely woken up particularly early in the morning, I’ll do a nice long picture + text post.

Yesterday, we were meant to have this power-cut that was supposedly to fix a ‘major’ problem, but it was fixed in 10 minutes, and that was during break so none of us really noticed it. So the year11s and 13s had a free day off for no reason. PSSHH i wish we had the day off too! But anyway, it was ‘T-shirt and Shorts’ day so that was ok. I think nearly all the guys wore shorts yesterday.

At around 5, went over to Diana’s house and there were a few people there so we started eating some soft chocolate-y stuff that was nice and packed with chocolate (cant go wrong there). We were being silly and giggling away in Diana’s room with pictures and imitations then went to try out some DDR when Hazim came with the second mat. After a while, everyone was there and they decided to go swimming. It was really gay though, how when everyone finally came, I had to leave soon after

Just the usual day at school. No, I think today was pretty decent in some ways and not in others. Had these lovely cupcakes to celebrate Mrs Hollis’s and Amirah’s birthday. They were really really good. I swear, we were fighting for seconds. Like the fatties that we are, Amirah and I got one and shared it. HAHA although it was slightly squished when Jake and I were bickering over it, it still tasted nice. It’s always energizing to have some sugar pumping in your blood. Anyway, it feels like the first time in a while that i’ve actually had a FREE lunch (where I didnt have to do anything). It’s so strange! so I was with Min, Nicki and Harry.

And I feel quite indecisive about my feelings towards our Bio lessons. Mixed feelings. In Bio, its sort of boring yet interesting. But I stayed awake today mainly because I was playing Hang-man (BIO VERSION) with Elaine and Sheng. HAHA it’s actually really refreshing and funny.
