I am starving. I wonder when dinner is.
I found out something today thats really confuzzling me. But anyway, at lunch we were meant to have a meeting then we went to the room but we got a text saying the room changed so we went to the other room and there was no meeting and we waited there. For nearly our entire lunch. Hhahaah a waste of our lunch
I didn’t get to eat properly, no wonder I’m feeling so hungry. but its okay. HAHA dinner is in 5 minutes. I just asked
After school, I had to go to basketball training to play with the u15s coz they had to get ready for FOBISSEA next week. I wish I could be in fobissea
It’s bad enough that ISB wouldn’t send an u18 team to Pattaya this month! I wanted to go so bad! We couldve met up with Harold, Junaid and co. Anyway, I want to watch the u15s play football! But it’s on a thursday in the morning and I’ve got school
Mr H said I could come during my free though. On a tangent, some of us are getting jerseys done for basketball. Strangely, we’re actually making football kits to play bball in instead because it’s $15 cheaper. So I want another set made too
I think I’m going to put.. Yesmean #9
Ok sorry, pointless post. Back to my geo essay.
Time is running out.

Like Allen and I always say, timebomb.
Today, woke up at 6 to get ready to head over to school to go to the STADIUM! Hahah I was so tired and so tempted to not go but I went anyway. It took us ages to actually drive out of ISB then we drove around for AGES around the stadium going back and forth. At one point, we were stuck in this road because we were part of a whole line of buses and the bus at the very front BROKE DOWN. So we had to reverse out of the road and double back I think. It took us an hour or something to get to where we were being dropped off, then we had to walk all the way to where we were meant to be.
Turns out that the spot that ISB was given was only like.. a 15 minute (at most) walk from school. And we took an hour to get there by bus. Greaat.
After we waved our flags when the Sultan drove by, it started getting REALLY hot. So Min and I walked around, then came back and ate, then all the IB people who came (Min, me, Andrew, Diana, Akmal, Dib, Isa and Adam) went to watch the performance and wander around. In a way it was smart because we watched the marching (not very interesting) and the performance with the fans and pompoms. which was pretty cool i must say
proud of brunei. HAHA but when i say smart, its also sort of sarcastic because we were FRYING out there. All of us were applying layers and layers of sunscreen.

mr reiger and the boys

the road/pathway thing

hahaha in the picture before this one, her flag completely blocked min's face. but anyway ms wilson's great!

the IBers! but where were.. amirah, zim and sheng? huh??

HAHA he did this little dance with the flags.

hahaha ISB!

HAHAHA they were actually really creepy.

hey min! we dont look that tan here. hahaha @ those hats they gave us.

all those poor little people stuck out in that horrible heat!

i wouldve died of heatstroke wearing a baju kurong. how did they all do that!

the girls

HAHA akmal FINALLY realised he had an umbrella in his bag.

all the picture/formation things they did with the fans. click to see it properly!

and they ended with this.

turns out you could peel off the logo from the hat & they double-sticky-taped it to the hat. HAHAHA sorry dib, that was us who stuck them on your bag.

and thats us 4 hours after it started. HAHA adam's shirt was soaked.

OOH BTW guys, did mr taylor end up say anything to you when they came back to ISB?!?
Funny because we missed the flag-waving when the sultan left since we were in the stands of the stadium. AND us older people took the bus thing when we were meant to let the little primary kids on. HAHA they had to walk all the way back to school in the sun while all we had to do was sit there and enjoy the airconditioning.
HAHA okok my sad story for the day. Someone I was texting was mentioning something about taking a nice cold shower after being out in the boiling heat, a waitress accidently knocked over a cup of cold chinese tea onto my bag and jeans. HAHAHA shit, talk about ’speak of the devil’. I guess that was my shower.
Apart from the National Day Celebration, my day wasn’t very productive. As usual
all these people hanging around

Another picture post for you guys
I spent a lovely 2 hours with Y-sista, Spazzy, bought some presents for people and then we went to Mukesh’s party where I saw the others and Jake’s new haircut! Actually loads of people had their hair cut: Jake, Catherine, Sandy, Seagame. After dinner, Nicki, Jake and I walked over to the Mall from TT Blues and we got some DOUGHNUTS! Jake had a sudden craving, then Nicki got DQ. God each spoonful of icecream was like mini orgasms man, haha we had such huge cravings for something sweet.

peace up! index down.

Spazzy/Spezzy DOUBLE CHINS!

I had to leave early and Min picked me up to head over to Nisa’s. Nisa had all these games waiting for us. I swear they had us giggling like little kids again, I say we’re never too old for games like those.

School was horrible today. But later on, I had sushi and there was that Cooking Lunch thing for the teachers and we prepared a 3-course meal for the us and the teachers.
Appetizers were these bacon wrap things, bread + pineapple things and stuffed cherry tomatoes. I’m not really familiar with what the appetizers were. Main courses were bread, spinach quiche and lasagne. Desserts were chocolate chip cookies and chocolate caramel slices (that siobhan and I made
). We were all set and put everything in the oven and 15 minutes later, we realise that the oven wasn’t even on. We set the temperature and the timer and everything, but the frickin’ oven wasnt on. HAHA
BUT it was okay because not all the teachers showed up on time. Anyway, yep it turned out pretty good! And it was fun, when we were cooking it was SO hot outside though. I havent got many pictures and they’re all on my phone because I forgot to charge my camera so YEHHH. I’ll get some from Sio laaayytahhh
LOVELOVE!
I don’t want to.
February 18, 2009
Back to sports, I’ve sort of recovered and I played a netball match against JIS today. Hahahah and we lost, which is okay actually because we haven’t actually practiced and trained at all as a team. I dont know if the u15 girls won or not but its okay too. The girls were playing football while we were waiting for the netball match and I suddenly realised that I miss football already

sita, ranjit and i.

HAHAHA
This picture looks really weird. Jake’s legs look so much shorter than they actually are and his foot looks MASSIVE.
‘NO SPAAAAACE’
February 17, 2009

what is it?
That, is John’s accidental creation (or the first stage of it). Ok what happened was Jan, Min and I were staying back coz Jan and I had to finish off the pigmy elephant thing. It’s due on thursday and I dont even think we’re even close to being done yet. ANYWAY, back to the piece of art. So far, we’ve come up with two things. A tooth or John’s ass (haha yep lovely huh). It looks a little strange. Any other suggestions? You guys can decide.
Oh and a Happy Birthday to Martin in Brizzy, Jasmine in SG and Mukesh in err.. Brunei.
going back and forth like water.

‘Relaks.’ hahaha anyway, today has been a ‘nrrgghhhh’ sort of day. the school day started sort of shitty and ended a bit better. okay, i cancelled one the ’sort of’ out but then mondays are almost always a pain anyway. Gosh was i really glad to be at home. Helped my brother’s friends with their opening speech and did some work. And watched Episode 16 of Gossip Girl (yeah I’m really behind) and I still need to finish watching my Jap series with Kimura Takuya (LOVEEE) and Skins Season 2. I havent even touched them! Later on in the evening, I went out and met up with Wei Shen and Wei Lian at the road of our simpang. HAHA and saw their new puppies

they were both so cute and so small!

It’s so surreal that BGIC is next week. It’s starting to sort of kick in but i think next week is going to be hectic. I’m really excited though, but it feels like its in a month. Not in a week. I cant wait to meet all our delegates!
Anyway, as promised. Pictures!
